Chapter 35 Dependents' Educational Assistance (DEA)

The VA is discontinuing Chapter 35 Dependents' Educational Assistance (DEA) for high school programs and secondary education effective August 1, 20266. Affected high school-level programs include general K-12 instruction, GED-level training, tutoring, and academic remediation.
