Fire Prevention Poster Contest

October is National Fire Prevention Month! This is a great time to help family and friends learn about fire safety and the simple steps everyone can take to prevent fires at home.

To raise awareness, we are hosting a Fire Safety Poster Contest for children ages five to 18 beginning Thursday, October 1 through Thursday, October 15 from 9 AM to 4 PM at C-29 Recreation Center.

Participants are encouraged to create posters featuring fire safety themes, such as fire trucks, fire stations, smoke alarms, escape plans, or other creative ways to prevent fires at home. Prizes will be awarded for the best posters in each age group. Our own WPNSTA Earle Fire Department will judge the entries and select the winners on Friday, October 16.

Poster materials will be available for pick up beginning Friday, October 2. Please return completed posters to C-29 Recreation by Thursday, October 15.
